植物をガラスに焼き付けたガラス工芸品・つづるガラスアート

私は、沖縄県恩納村でガラス作品を作っています。
恩納村は自然が豊かです。サンゴ礁が広がる遠浅の青い海には、多くの熱帯魚が泳ぎ、色とりどりの花が咲いています。華やかな花の一つ、恩納村の村花「ゆうなの花」をガラスに焼き付けています。ゆうなの花言葉は「楽しい想い出」です。素敵な想い出と一緒に、楽しんで頂ければ幸いです。

ガラス作品は、1,000度の高温で作られています。一緒に焼く植物は、80度で灰になってしまい、ガラスに焼き付けることはできません。20年研究の末、高温のガラス製作に耐えられる釉薬を開発し、特許技術を取得しました。
ゆうなの花には、特許技術の釉薬を塗り、ガラスを乗せて焼き上げます。環境に配慮したリサイクルガラスを使って、作品を作っています。
私は、植物と鉱物から作られたガラスを使って、自然の美しさを表現しています。

＊お手入れについて
ガラス製品は、食洗器は使用せずに、スポンジに食器用洗剤をつけて手洗いしてください。

＊植物のデザインについて
ガラスに植物が焼き付けられているため、剥がれる心配はありません。どうぞ安心してご使用ください。

＊植物の変色について
湿気や年月の経過により、植物の銀色が琥珀色に変わることがあります。
その場合は、同梱のクロスで優しく磨くか、または銀アクセサリー用の磨き液を少量垂らし、筆で広げてから2～3分後に洗い流してください。
お手入れの際は、水気をしっかり拭き取って保管してください。

以上の点を守っていただくと、ガラス製品をより美しく、長く楽しんでいただけます。

Glass artwork with baked plants.

Glass art is produced in Onna Village, Okinawa.
Onna Village is rich in nature. The shallow blue sea with its coral reefs is home to many tropical fish and colourful flowers. One of these gorgeous flowers, the Onna Village flower 'Taliparity tiliaceum', has been burnished onto a glass dish. The language of flowers of the Taliparity Tiliaceum is 'happy memories'. Enjoy it with beautiful memories.

The glass works are made at a high temperature of 1,000 °C. Plants baked together turn to ash at 80 °C and cannot be baked into the glass After 20 years of research, we have developed a glaze that can withstand high temperature glass production and obtained a patented technology.
The glaze made with the patented technology is applied to the hot water flowers and the glass is placed on top of it and fired. The glass I use is environmentally friendly and made from recycled glass.
I use glass made from plants and minerals to express the beauty of nature.
