しっとりと濡れた空気の中、ゆうなの花が静かに咲き、垣根を縫うようにツタがのびていく──
そんな情景を一枚のガラスの中に焼き付けました。

クルクルと絡むツタの茎、その葉は時を経たように擦れ、まるで古い遺跡から見つかった植物標本のような風合い。
ゆうなの花と葉はシルエットとして焼き付けられ、背景によって色が移ろいます。

自然光のもとでは、やわらかな黄色の花と葉が、風に揺れるように器の中に咲きます。
ところが、黒いテーブルなど暗い背景に置くと、花と葉は紫色に変化し、印象が一変。

During Okinawa’s early summer, gentle rain brings forth the earthy scent of wet soil, new leaves, and the subtle fragrance of blooming flowers.
From that quietly vibrant season, this glass bowl was born — combining the flowing movement of ivy with the silhouette of the yūna flower.
Ivy vines curl and stretch playfully across the surface, their timeworn leaves adding a rustic, almost archaeological texture.
The yūna flower, in contrast, is delicately fired into the glass, appearing almost like a faint shadow — a soft echo of a seasonal bloom.

One of this piece’s most enchanting features is how it changes with its surroundings:
In natural light or against light-colored surfaces, the flower appears golden yellow.
But when placed on a dark or black tabletop, the same flower takes on a gentle purple hue.
