雨と光に包まれる、沖縄の梅雨。

しっとりと濡れた空気の中、
ゆうなの花が静かに咲き、
垣根を縫うようにツタがのびていく──

そんな情景を、一枚のガラスの中に焼き付けました。

くるりと絡むツタの茎と、
時を経たように擦れた葉。

まるで古い標本のような風合いの中に、
ゆうなの花が、淡いシルエットとして浮かび上がります。

この器の魅力は、
光と背景によって表情が変わること。

自然光のもとでは、
やわらかな黄色の花が、
風に揺れるように器の中に咲きます。

一方で、黒いテーブルなど暗い背景に置くと、
花はほんのりと紫を帯び、
まるで別の時間が流れているかのような印象に変わります。

15cmという手のひらに収まる広がりの中に、
植物の「いま」と「時間の重なり」を閉じ込めた一枚。

A fleeting moment of Okinawa’s rainy season, quietly preserved in glass.

During Okinawa’s early summer,
gentle rain softens the air,
carrying the scent of wet earth, fresh leaves, and blooming flowers.

From this quiet, luminous season,
this glass bowl was born —
weaving together the flowing movement of ivy
and the delicate presence of the yūna flower.

Ivy vines curl and extend across the surface,
their leaves softly worn,
like fragments of time gently held in place.

The yūna flower appears as a faint silhouette,
subtle and ephemeral,
its presence shifting with the light.

One of the most captivating qualities of this piece
is how it transforms with its surroundings.

In natural light or against a pale background,
the flower glows in a soft golden yellow.

Placed on a dark surface,
it takes on a gentle violet hue —
as if another time, another atmosphere,
quietly emerges within the glass.
