海辺に自生するハマササゲの姿を、ガラスの中に焼き付けた作品です。

風や塩にさらされながら伸びる枝と葉のかたちを、
そのまま閉じ込めるようにガラスへ定着させています。

20年にわたる研究から生まれた特許技術により、
植物は灰になることなく、繊細な輪郭を残したままガラスと一体化しています。

乳白のガラスはやわらかく光を受け、
内部に淡い奥行きと静かな明るさを生み出します。

光の角度によって浮かび上がる植物の表情が、
時間の移ろいをゆっくりと映し出します。

フレームには琉球杉の古材を用い、
素材そのものが持つ時間の重なりも作品の一部としています。

This work preserves the form of Vigna marina,
a coastal plant shaped by wind and salt air in Okinawa.

Its delicate branches and leaves are fused directly into the glass,
capturing traces of its natural environment.

Using a patented technique developed over two decades,
the plant is fixed into the glass without turning to ash,
retaining its fine structure and presence.

The milky white glass softly diffuses light,
creating a gentle depth and quiet luminosity within the piece.

As the light changes, subtle variations in the surface emerge,
revealing the passage of time within the material.

The frame is made from reclaimed Ryukyu cedar,
adding another layer of history and texture to the work.

Each piece is unique.
Variations in color and detail are part of its character.
